DRAFT PICKS
Each captain will choose their top 3 players from the registrations. The rest of the teams will be pick via draft.
CHALLENGE POT $50 PER PLAYER
To add an extra layer of excitement, each player will contribute $50 to the challenge pot. With winner-takes-all stakes, the pressure will be on to secure victory and claim the ultimate prize.
Captains will collect $50 from each player for the Challenge Pot. Total team scores minus two highest scores will determine the final team score. Lowest team score takes all. Pot will be divided amongst winning players of the winning team.
TROPHIES
• Team Trophy - We will award the winning team with a prize trophy that will have their team name place on it. The captain can keep the trophy for a year until the next annual challenge. Each year a new name plate will be added to the trophy.
PAYMENT
All payment must be made by May 5, 2024. No late registrations accepted.
EVENT TERMS
All tournament/outing/event fees are final. There are no refunds for no shows or cancellations made by the player. Refunds are issued only if the golf course cancels the event.
The DMVVGA Committee reserves the right to alter any of the conditions and schedules herein. The Committee reserves the right to reject the entry of any applicant at anytime for any reason. Any decision by the Committee in any matter shall be final.
TROPHIES AND PRIZE MONEY
When available trophies and prize money are reserved for paid members with a GHIN handicap only. All other prizes are open to members and guests.
NEW MEMBERS
First time players/members are ineligible to win trophies or prize money on their first event, outing or tournament. They are deemed eligible once they completely finish all 18 holes of their first tournament or outing with DMVVGA.
LIABILITY
DMVVGA is not liable for any damages that may occur to a member's equipment or personal property while participating in a tournament. Furthermore, DMVVGA is not liable for any injury that may occur to a member while participating in a tournament. All DMVVGA tournament are play at your own risk.
ETIQUETTE
All participants are expected to follow the rules and regulations of the golf course and all golf etiquette. Any member or guest not following course rules and regulations or not behaving within DMVVGA standards or the expectations of the golf course will be ask to leave the tournament without refund. DMVVGA reserves the right to terminate membership any time for repeat offenses.
